Swedish pike fever!

Here’s the first report from the Swedish wilderness. The first few days have been awful to say the least with terrible weather and only one bite after 8 hours of fishing. Despite rain, sleet and wind
yesterday, this morning I awoke to fantastic weather with no wind and lightly overcast.

Expectations are therefore high, already at the first strokes of the oars.

It wasn’t long either before my Alien Eel Firetiger was in action. After a short fight I was able to land a really nice pike 5.34 kg, which was also a new personal record.

5,34 kg
The Firetiger had hardly touched the water before yet another pike struck and here the scales showed 5.44 kg – again another personal record. Awesome.

The next hour nothing happened, so it was time for a change, as the clock approached 10 and therefore breakfast time. A large rubber wobbler (Kickin’ Minnow 25cm – 150g) attached and before long a 3.5 kg pike turned up. 10 minutes later the rod with the rubber wobbler bent again, and a fat, beautiful lady-pike of 6.01 kg was landed becoming the 3rd personal record of the day – Oh Yeah! :)

New PB - 6,01 kg og 89 cm

That was the end of 3 hours morning fishing with 4 lovely pike in the boat; 3.52 – 5.34 – 5.44 and 6.01 kg. All fish were of course released again.

3,5 kilo
Hopefully I can take another tour this afternoon and who knows, maybe another PR awaits?:)
