So the first round of arapaima ended happily with a lovely arapaima of about 30 kg, that bit at the last moments in the twilight.
Besides the nice arapaima, we caught several other “smaller” fish. Among others this Siamese carpe around 15 kilo, which put up a crazy fight! Tomorrow we go arapaima hunting again, where the really big fish are to be found.
